Summer Program
2023
This year our Summer program has a series of workshops and classes. Workshops and session classes require pre-registration, but drop-in classes do not.
Private lessons with Kelsey or Rachel are also available.
SESSION CLASSES

Me and My Grown Up | Ages 18 months to 3 years | Two Three-Week Sessions
$50 for 1 session | $85 for both sessions
Session 1: Tuesdays 11:00am - 11:30am | 7/11, 7/18, 7/25
Session 2: Tuesdays 11:00am - 11:30am | 8/1, 8/8, 8/15
This class is for the littlest dancers out there and a responsible adult. During these sessions, dancers (and their grown-ups!) will learn how to move their bodies, play games, and dance to fun music. All dancers must be accompanied by an adult 18+. Dancers and adults should wear comfortable athletic clothing.
Combo Class (Jazz and Ballet) | Ages 4 years to 6 years | Two Four-Week Sessions
$65 for 1 session | $105 for both sessions
Session 1: Mondays 11:00am - 11:45am | 7/3, 7/10, 7/17, 7/24
Session 2: Mondays 11:00am - 11:45am | 7/31, 8/7, 8/14, 8/21
This class is for boys and girls ages 4 to 6. Dancers will practice stretching, creative movement, and learn the basics of Jazz and Ballet. Dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothing with socks if they do not have regular dance attire.
Vocals Class | Ages 7+ | Four-Class Session | $65
7/11, 7/13, 7/18, 7/25 | 12:00 - 1:00pm
Do you know someone who loves to sing? Send them our way to our Beginner Vocals class! In this course, your singer will learn how to keep their voices healthy, basic technique, and skills to help shape them into a star!

Witches and Wizards
Lyrical Dance Workshop | Ages 7 to 10 | $85
Wednesday, July 12th - 8:30am to 12:00pm
Join us for a magical day of lyrical dance! During this workshop dancers will have a chance to practice their spell casting to Harry Potter themed tunes, make a magical craft, and show off all they learned in a small performance at the end of the workshop.
Dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothing, and may certainly show off their magical attire! No prior experience necessary.
Jungle Safari
Acro Dance Workshop | Ages 7 to 10 | $85
Wednesday, July 19th - 8:30am to 12:00pm
Join us in your favorite animal print to leap, flip, and roll through a morning full of acro dance! During this workshop dancers will practice their acro skills, make a fun jungle themed craft, and present all they've learned in a short performance at the end of the morning!
Dancers should wear comfortable athletic clothing and we highly encourage it to be animal print! No prior experience necessary.
Master Class with Sonya Charette-Bodo
Acro Dance Workshop | Ages 6 to 9 | $35
Wednesday, July 26th - 8:30am to 9:30am
Join us for a master acro dance class with Sonya Charette-Bodo! This workshop is ideal for returning dancers previously in Acro 1A and Acro 1B. Younger dancers from Acro 2 may also sign up for this workshop. Sonya is the owner of The Acro Academy, is a founding member of The Acro Dance Teachers Association, and has many certifications in the realm of acro dance. She is a native of Fort Kent and we are thrilled to have her as a guest at MoonDance this summer!

The Royal Academy
Ballet Workshop | Ages 6 to 9 | $85
Wednesday, August 2nd - 8:30am to 12:00pm
Join us at "The Royal Academy" for a morning full of ballet! During this workshop we'll dance to music from our favorite princess movies, make a royal craft, and dancers will have a chance to show off their new found poise and grace in a short performance for parents!
Dancers are invited to wear their favorite royal attire but may wear anything they are comfortable in! No prior experience necessary.
Super Heroes vs Villains
Hip Hop Workshop | Ages 7 to 10 | $85
Wednesday, August 9th - 8:30am to 12:00pm
Calling all super heroes and villains! Join us for a morning full of hip hop dance and games to show off your super strength!
Dancers are encouraged to sport their favorite super hero (or villain) attire, but may wear whatever they are comfortable in! No prior experience necessary.

These classes will be tailored to fit all listed levels of students with the goal of keeping their skills fresh throughout the Summer. No long-term commitment is necessary with our drop-in classes. No registration is required.
Cost per dancer for drop-in classes (pay as you attend):
1 class/week = $15
2 classes/week = $27
3 classes/week = $37
4 classes/week = $45
5+ classes/week = $50
Stretch and Strengthen | Drop-in Class
Mondays 9:00am - 10:00am | Begins 7/3
This class is for dancers ages 9 and up looking to improve their strength and flexibility.
Open Jazz | Drop-in Class
Mondays 10:00am - 11:00am | Begins 7/3
This class is for returning dancers in Jazz 2, Jazz 3, and Jazz 4.
Open Tap | Drop-in Class
Tuesdays 1:00pm - 2:00pm | Begins 7/11
This class is for returning dancers in Tap 2, Tap 3, and Tap 4.
Open Acro | Drop-in Class
Tuesdays 2:00pm - 3:00pm | Begins 7/11
This class is for returning dancers ages 7 and up with at least one year of acro experience.
Open Ballet | Drop-in Class
Wednesdays 1:00pm - 2:00pm | Begins 7/5
This class is for returning dancers in Ballet 3, Ballet 4, and Ballet 5
Pointe | Drop-in Class
Wednesdays 2:00pm - 3:00pm | Begins 7/5
This class is for returning dancers in Pointe 1 and Pointe 2.
PRIVATE LESSONS
Private lessons are available for any dancer that would like 1 on 1 instruction with Kelsey to improve their skills. Private lessons with Kelsey can be scheduled by using the link below. If you would like to schedule weekly lessons, please be sure to go in and book the time slot you would like for each individual week!
