Class Offerings

Recreational Classes
Recreational classes are open to all dancers.  Dancers are placed according to the grade level they will be entering in the Fall of 2025.
All classes perform in the annual recital unless otherwise stated.

Dance With Me (18 months to 3 years) - a class for the tiniest dancers and a responsible adult.  This class provides the opportunity for toddlers and their adults to connect with each other and other families in the community and to get their bodies moving!  Does not perform in the annual recital.

Pre-K Combo (Age 3 and those entering Pre-K) - an introductory combination class consisting of Jazz and Tap

Kinder Combo (Kindergarten) - a combination class consisting of Jazz and Tap. This class continues to build upon the skills learned in Pre-K Combo and is also open to new dancers.

Elementary Combo (Grades 1 & 2) - a combination class consisting of Jazz and Tap. This class builds upon skills learned in Pre-K and Kinder Combo and is also open to new dancers. 

Jazz (Grade 3+) - a class focused on Jazz technique 

Ballet (Pre-K+) - a class focused on classical Ballet technique 

Pointe - Available to dancers with an invitation from the instructor

Tap (Grade 3+) - a class focused on Tap technique 

Hip Hop (Grade 3+) - a class focused on Hip Hop technique and culture

Clogging (Grade 1+) - a class focused on traditional Clogging technique 

Lyrical/Contemporary (Grade 3+) -  a class focused on combining Ballet and Jazz technique and exploring physical movement 

Acro Dance (Pre-K+) - a class focused on combining gymnastics and dance, following the Acro Dance Teacher's Association curriculum

Musical Theater (Grade 3+) - a class combining Broadway style dance and vocals

 

Teen/Adult Tap (ages 15+) - Our Teen/Adult Tap class is suitable for absolute beginners to intermediate level dancers.  Performance in the annual recital is optional.

Teen/Adult Clogging (ages 15+) - Our Teen/Adult Clogging class is suitable for absolute beginners to intermediate level dancers.  Performance in the annual recital is optional.

Competitive Classes
Competitive classes are open to dancers with an invitation from the instructor.  Dancers are placed as the instructor sees fit.

Mini Competition Jazz - a class focused on Jazz technique.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.

Junior Competition Jazz - a class focused on Jazz technique.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.

Senior Competition Jazz - a class focused on Jazz technique.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.

Competition Tap - a class focused on Tap technique.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.

Competition Clogging - a class focused on traditional Clogging technique.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.

Senior Competition Lyrical/Contemporary -  a class focused on combining Ballet and Jazz technique and exploring physical movement.  This class will compete in two competitions in March as well as the annual recital.
